Ruth Lynch, MFT

Dr. OrenRuth is a Marriage and Family Therapist with over 13 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families and in school based counseling programs. She is a graduate of Antioch University with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology. She is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients; among her areas of expertise are relationships (current and exploration/insight when seeking a healthy well suited partner); along with family and parenting issues. She is also a Clinical Supervisor for Marriage & Family Therapy Interns.

In addition, she has helped individuals through life transitions and increasing their understanding of how they can be empowered through personal positive changes. Ruth has presented to parents and teachers with the intent of raising awareness of the benefits of counseling for children and adolescents throughout Orange and L.A. County.

Ruth has worked with K-12th grade students in school based counseling programs; motivating students to problem solve and increase self-awareness/esteem to enhance their academics, social skills, and relationships with family, friends, and teachers. Ruth spent 5 years on staff at College Hospital's Outpatient Psychiatric Program where she managed treatment of individuals with mental illness such as Schizophrenia, Mood Disorders, Major Depression, Personality Disorders; along with individuals experiencing debilitating symptoms due to life stressors.

Ruth is an interactive, Solution-Focused Therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth that can be accomplished through their personal commitment.
